ABSTRACT: This study assessed the Impact of Early Childhood Education on Refugee Integration. The objectives of this study were to: (1) assess the impact of early childhood education (ECE) programs on facilitating refugee children's integration into host communities, (2) explore the educational approaches used to support refugee children's adaptation and language acquisition, and (3) determine the long-term effects of ECE on refugee children's social inclusion and academic success. A survey research design was chosen to collect detailed data from educators, refugee parents, and community stakeholders about their experiences with refugee integration in ECE settings. A sample size of 150 participants, including ECE teachers, refugee parents, and community leaders, was selected using purposive sampling to include a representative sample from refugee communities in Adamawa State, Nigeria. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers known for their inclusive policies and support for refugee integration. Findings revealed that ECE programs significantly facilitated refugee children's integration by providing language support, cultural orientation, and social inclusion opportunities. It is recommended that early childhood education centers continue to collaborate with refugee support agencies and local communities to create welcoming environments and provide targeted support for refugee children and families.
